A comprehensive approach to construction management, encompassing key areas such as planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling, project appraisal, tendering, contracts and claims management, finance management, resource management, and utilization of project management tools and techniques. Additionally, it highlights exposure to advanced practices in digital project management including Building Information Modeling (BIM), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management, quantity surveying and stakeholder management. Post Graduate Program in Advanced Construction Management course is an industry-focused one. This course gives an opportunity to develop techno-managerial skill. Internship

The Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Construction Management (PGDACM ) is a one-year program comprising of two semesters. During the one-year program, the trainees should undergo a three months structured internship.

In due course of this internship, the trainees will acquire knowledge and skills on planning, scheduling, monitoring & controlling of projects, contract management, resource management, finance management & risk management in the construction industry.

The internship for  first and second batches (2018 and 2019) of PGDACM was arranged at various live projects spread throughout Kerala (Roads, bridges, commercial buildings, schools etc) of ULCCS Ltd., Terrenus, KIIFB projects and so on. The internship for 2021 (batch 1 and batch 2) was at various live projects of  L & T, Sobha Developers, Colliers International and Kattera Limited located at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Chennai. IIIC has closer collaboration  with the above mentioned companies for absorption of graduating students.
