The Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC), Chavara, and Hilti India Pvt. Ltd. have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration in the construction and infrastructure sector.

The MoU aims to facilitate greater engagement between IIIC and Hilti through technical knowledge sharing, industry interaction, professional development, and exposure to contemporary practices and technologies in the construction industry.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of the leadership team of IIIC, including Prof. Dr. B. Sunilkumar, Director, IIIC; Dr. Jomy Thomas, Dean – Academics; Dr. Ashfak A., Dean – Administration; and Prof. George Constantine, Dean – Admissions and Placements.

Hilti India was represented by Ms. Agamoni Das, Head – Codes & Approvals, Fastening Systems; Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Vakkalagadda, Head – Codes & Approvals, Fire Protection; and Mr. Sreenath Balakrishnan, Specification Consultant – Kerala.

The collaboration reflects IIIC’s continued commitment to building strong industry partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities for technical learning, industry exposure and professional development for its learners and faculty.
