Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering
The trainees will receive cognitive and in-depth professional knowledge and skills through the Post Graduate Diploma In Industrial Safety Engineering course, preparing them for the demanding task of establishing a safe and healthy working environment in factories, construction sites, and other similar establishments. The goal of this programme is to prepare the participants to perform the duties of a Safety Officer Or Safety Engineer. The course covers occupational hygiene and health, safety in the engineering industry, safety in the construction industry, modern tools for managing safety, industrial hygiene laboratory, projects, industrial visits, and seminar. It also covers accident prevention, investigation and analysis, health, safety and environment management, safety and the law, and occupational hygiene and health. During the programme, structured internships are also arranged in
numerous reputable fields.

Internship
The Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering (PGDISE) is a one-year program comprising of two semesters. During the one-year program, the trainees should undergo a three months structured internship.
In due course of this internship, the trainees will acquire knowledge and skills on occupational hygiene and health, safety in the engineering industry, safety in the construction industry, modern tools for managing safety, industrial hygiene, safety and environment management, safety and the law, and occupational hygiene and health in the industry.
Structured internships will be arranged at various reputed organisations like KMML, ULCCS Ltd., Travancore Titanium Products Limited (TTPL), HLL.
