IIIC Signed MOU with Akzo Nobel India in the presence of Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan hon’ble Chief Minister.

On April 21, 2022, The Netherlands – Kerala Co-Operation Signing Ceremony for Cosmos Malabaricus MoU and Two MoUs for Establishing Skill Development Programme, was conducted at Harmony Hall, Mascot Hotel. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding happened in the presence of Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mr. Marten Van Den Berg, Ambassador of The Netherlands, Ambassador Mr. VenuRajamony, Officer on Special Duty (External Cooperation), Government of Kerala, Dr. R. Bindu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Mr. V. Sivankutty, Hon’ble Minister for Labour, H.E.  Prof. G. Arunima, Director, Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) and Mr. RemeshanPaleri, Chairman, ULCCS Ltd., signed the MOU on ‘Cosmos Malabaricus’ and handed over a copy to H.E. Mr. Marten Van Den Berg, Ambassador of the Netherlands. The Ambassador handed over signed copies of the MoU to the Director, KCHR, received from Leiden University and the National Archives of the Netherlands. Dr. Usha Titus, Chairperson and Managing Director, ASAP Kerala, and Ms. Harshi Rastogi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Akzo Nobel India, signed the MoU for establishing a Skill Development Programme (Paint Academy) at Thavanoor, Malappuram District, which will focus on vehicle refinishing. After signing, the MoUs were exchanged. Ms. Harshi Rastogi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Akzo Nobel India Prof. (Dr.) B. Sunil Kumar, Director, Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC), Kollam and Mr. S.N. Raghuchandran Nair, Convenor General, CREDAI Kerala and National Executive Committee Member, CREDAI National signed the MoU for skill development programme in decorative painting. Er. Raghavan K, Deputy Director, IIIC, was also present.
