Sewage Treatment Plant Lab

The fullfledged STP-WTP Plant at IIIC helps the students of STP-WTP Operator course in acquiring the much needed skills in this field. It’s an Environment-friendly treatment plant hence the water used is reused for gardening. The Filtration used in treatment plant is sand & activated Carbon filter bed. The most modern technology of Ultra Filtration is also used in our plant. The method of operation used at our plant is the Activated Sludge Process (ASP) I.e; a sewage treatment process in which air or oxygen is blown into raw, unsettled sewage to smash the solids and develop a biological 'soup' which digests the organic content and pollutants in the sewage.
