The Light Engineering Technology Clinic was held at IIIC

The Kollam District Industrial Center under the Department of Industries, Government of Kerala has organized a Technology Clinic for general entrepreneurs and those in the field of Light Engineering and Manufacturing. Prof. (Dr.) B. Sunil Kumar, Director, Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction inaugurated the program. Shri. Biju Kurian, General Manager, District Industrial Center presided over the function. Shri K. Rajeev delivered the keynote address. District Industrial Center Manager Shri. Dinesh and Shri Kiran attended. The main steps to be taken for the discovery, realization and expansion of new ventures are mainly explained. The event featured presentations by Public Sector Undertakings Indian Rare Earth Limited (IREL) and Kerala Metals and Minerals Limited on product orders available to small entrepreneurial units. Chartered Engineer Shri Narayanan A, Chathannoor ITI Chairman Shri Ajith CB, Malappuram Metals Manager Shri DwarakaUnni and Max Automation Limited Director Shri TO Suresh Kumar presented various topics. The two-day technology workshop concluded by introducing a number of entrepreneurial opportunities of industrial importance in the field of light engineering and manufacturing. IIIC Director Prof.(Dr). B Sunilkumar distributed certificates to all the participants.
