Kollam District Administration organized the ‘Quilon Odyssey’ Career Expo & Job Fair at IIIC Campus on 19th october 2024

Honourable Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, J. Chinchurani, inaugurated the ‘Quilon Odyssey’ Career Expo organized by the District Administration at IIIC Campus.

The Minister emphasized the crucial role of such events in creating job opportunities and maximizing the human resource potential of the younger generation.
The Minister highlighted the need to provide job opportunities that match the skills of job seekers in this competitive era. Career expos like these play a pivotal role in facilitating this goal. The Minister urged the youth to make full use of this opportunity.

The expo featured seminars, quizzes, and career stalls. Various organizations like Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence, ODEPC, K-DISC, Technopark, NORKA Roots, and over 15 skill development institutions participated. The event was jointly organized by the District Administration and the Kudumbashree District Mission.

The event was presided over by MLA Dr. Sujith Vijayan Pillai. Other dignitaries present included District Panchayat President Dr. P.K. Gopan,District Collector Devidas N IAS, Sub Collector Nishant Sihara IAS, IIIC Director Dr. B Sunil Kumar and other officials from Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission and Kudumbashree District Mission.
