Smt. Mini Antony, IAS, Kerala Govt. Secretary, Department of Co-operation, Labour& Skills, visited IIIC on 7 Jan, 2022. Three KASE representatives, UL Education Director (Admin) Er. Raghavan and IIIC staff were also present. Director Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar.B welcomed the Secretary and briefed her about IIIC regarding the courses offered, the growth and placement status till date along with the proactive measures taken by IIIC and the challenges faced in order to implement the plans. Later Smt. Mini Antony expressed her strategic views about transforming IIIC to a well-known “temple of knowledge”. She had suggested IIIC to focus more on promotional activities and brand building within Kerala first and expand later. She provided several insightful and practical measures for IIIC such as tie-up with Kerala Bank to support IIIC for interest free loans to needy students. She suggested IIIC to identify the industry requirement and modify course curriculum accordingly. Smt. Mini Antony was highly impressed with the plans presented by Director and assured her whole hearted support. Later she visited the campus, labs and released the MEP brochure.
