Orientation Programme on Awareness Of CSDCI and its Roles

IIIC had organized a two-day orientation programme on NSQF Framework and Competency Levels on 19th and 20th July, 2019. Mrs. Jancy Mathew, GM – Standards and Research, Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) handled classes of the orientation programme for faculty members at IIIC. Mrs. Jancy Mathew has given an overview of CSDCI and its roles. She has discussed NSQA framework and competency levels; QP development and approval process; Construction Sector occupation and Qualification packs; Guidelines on preparing proposals and procedure for getting approval for new courses from NSDC and NSDA; QR process for QP – mainly level 8, 9 and 10; Capacity building – TOT domain and platform training and assessment. The orientation programme ended with a question-answer session in which she had clarified the queries of the participants.
