This program is designed to introduce students to the integrated applications of Project Management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the construction industry. Through interactive sessions and practical exposure, participants will gain foundational knowledge of how these tools and methodologies are used together in modern construction workflows. Ideal for students and early-career professionals, this program offers a well-rounded learning experience that encourages interdisciplinary thinking and enhances digital competency. The internship also includes site visits to observe real- world applications and industry practices.

Learning Objectives

• Understand the basic concepts and workflows of construction management, GIS, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Gain practical knowledge of how GIS supports site selection, mapping, and spatial analysis in construction 
• Develop skills in creating and managing 3D models using BIM tools such as Revit 
• Apply project management techniques to coordinate tasks, resources, and timelines in real-world scenarios

• Build and validate coordinated BIM models that reflect design intent and comply with industry standards.
• Present integrated project workflows that combine GIS, BIM, and project management data in a professional format

Eligibility

• KTU students from 5th to 8th Semester (B. Tech CE) and fresh graduates from B. Tech (CE)
