Internship program in Construction Project Management

Internship in Construction Project Management Program is designed to immerse students in the principles and practices of managing construction projects. This hands-on program provides practical experience and insights into various aspects of construction management, from planning and scheduling to monitoring and controlling using project management software. Ideal for students and early-career professionals, this program aims to ignite a passion for construction project management and equip students with valuable skills for future opportunities. In addition to comprehensive training sessions, this internship also includes industry- oriented site visits to large-scale projects.

Learning Objectives

  • Introduce participants to the basics of construction project management and its lifecycle.
  • Teach the principles and techniques of construction Planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling
  • Explore advanced project management software applications through practical sessions on Primavera/MSP.
  • Use Primavera/MSP for project setup, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Comprehend organizational behavior and its impact on project management.
  • Apply professional ethics in construction management.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this internship, students will be able to

Eligibility

  • KTU students from 5th to 8th Semester (B.Tech CE) and fresh graduates from B.Tech (CE,ME.EEE)
