Internship program in Structural Design using STAAD Pro offers a comprehensive exploration into the principles and practices of structural engineering using advanced software tools. This program is tailored to provide students with hands-on experience and delves into various aspects of structural design, analysis, and modeling. In addition to comprehensive training sessions, this internship also includes industry-oriented site visits to large-scale projects.

Learning Objectives

• Introduce students to fundamental principles and tools of structural design using STAAD Pro.
• Teach various techniques for grid creation, node manipulation, and beam addition.
• Provide hands-on training in analyzing continuous beams, 2D frames, and multistory buildings.
• Explore advanced topics such as reinforced concrete frame analysis and wind load analysis.
• Facilitate practical exercises and real-world case studies to reinforce learning outcomes.

Eligibility

• KTU students from 5th to 8th Semester ( B.Tech CE )and fresh graduates from Tech/M.Tech
• While a basic understanding of structural engineering concepts is recommended, it is not mandatory.
