Part-A: Technical Core and Technical Aptitude (60%)
Technical Aptitude: Multiple choice questions covering general technical topics and the candidates’ technical background. This section aims to assess the candidates’ understanding of technical concepts, principles, problem-solving, and analytical skills relevant to the job role or field of study.
Technical core: This section consists of domain-specific questions to assess the candidates’ technical knowledge in basic civil engineering, surveying, mechanics of structures, building materials, concrete technology, construction technology, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, construction management, structural analysis
and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures
Part-B: General Technical Aptitude (40%)
Quantitative Aptitude: Multiple choice questions covering topics such as algebra, time and work, arithmetic, time, speed and distance, profit and loss, geometry, permutation & combination.
Logical Reasoning: Multiple choice questions covering topics such as puzzles, seating arrangement, syllogism, arrangement/pattern, analogy, coding/decoding, relations, inequalities, input/output, cause and effect, etc.
English: Multiple choice questions covering topics such as phrase replacement, fill in the blanks, error spotting, phrase/idioms, jumbles, antonyms, sentence completion, comprehension, statement conclusion/argument, grammar, vocabulary, etc.
