Ambassador Venu Rajamony visited IIIC. He had a breakfast meeting with Director (IIIC) Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar B, Deputy Director Raghavan K and team. Mr. Venu Rajamony is an Indian diplomat who belongs to the Indian Foreign Service. On September 17, 2021, he has assumed the post of Officer on Special Duty, External Cooperation in the State Government of Kerala. He is the former Netherlands Ambassador and Consul General at Dubai. Possible skilling related association of IIIC with Dutch, Japan and Singapore through the respective embassies were among some of the points discussed. Getting connected with International Labour Organisation (ILO) and revisiting Japanese skilling plans in construction sector also came up. Before leaving IIIC after a quick campus visit, the Ambassador coordinated a meeting of Director and Deputy Director with Consul General of Japan Mr. Taga Masayuki in Kochi later in the day.
